Stock Tooling
Thousands of rule dies are available. These include standard shapes,
circles, rectangles and rings. Whenever possible, these standard
dies are utilized, thereby minimizing your tooling costs.
When custom dies are required, Pacific Far
West Industries employs the latest in die-making technology,
including lasers, to ensure conformity to your tolerances.
RFI Shielding
New F.C.C. regulations mandate the use of proper shielding materials
for devices such as microprocessors which emit electro-magnetic
interference. Several types of electrically conductive rubber and
rubber-metal mesh combinations are available for fabrication into
shielding gaskets.
Adhesive Systems
Application of pressure-sensitive adhesives to all types of gasketing
materials is our specialty. Heat activated or solvent activated
adhesives can be used for more demanding applications.

Gasket requirements cover a wide range of materials, in a multitude of
thicknesses, densities and hardnesses.
Pacific Far West Industries maintains
a large inventory of gasketing materials, including plastic, foam, urethane,
rubber, sponge, cork, cork rubber blends, fibers, fiberglass, leather,
and PORON® cellular foams.
